Andrea Kollo is a Toronto photographer who for over a decade has provided Concert Coverage; Corporate, Community Event and Profile Photography. My editorial work includes People at Work and Play and Lifestyle Photographic Services.
My first love was photographing people; what they are doing, how they interact with one another in work and play. As time went on I found the long shadows, silhouettes, reflections and textures fascinating in nature and architecture -- there's just so much for the eye to see and take in, and so many ways to see it.
In my mind, to capture the extraordinary in the every day is my greatest pleasure. Shooting photo's and sharing them is a deeply personal way of exposing the very essence of how we see life, people and the world around us. Put a group of photographer's together and they will see the same thing in their own unique way. I am particular to the complexity and subtly of natural light and shoot outdoors whenever possible.
Because of my deep love and respect for nature, and because I'm a passionate nature conservationist I have an extensive array of quality floral, nature and wildlife fine art photographs.
My photographs have appeared in publications including:
King Weekly, Osprey Press and the Atria Calendar (January 2009). My images can be found on the Green Belt, Holland Marsh, Concerned Citizens of King, Nobleton Fair, King Chamber, Kettleby Fair and various other websites. The 2008 King Blooms magazine showcased my photo on the cover and others throughout the publication.'
